Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the SpooqW cloud platform, operated by Aretè Tecnologia (P.IVA 05945010873, Belpasso (CT) 95032, Italy). By creating an account you accept them on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organisation you represent.

1. The service

SpooqW provides a managed platform to build, run and govern data pipelines on an Apache Iceberg lakehouse. Each plan defines usage limits (projects, seats, pipelines, connections, concurrent runs, rows and runtime per run) enforced by the platform and described on the pricing page.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the users you invite into your workspace. Accounts require a verified email address.

3. Plans, billing and cancellation

  • The Free plan is provided at no charge and may be subject to fair-use adjustments.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly in EUR via Stripe. Upgrades and downgrades are prorated by Stripe.
  • You may cancel at any time; the service stays active until the end of the paid period.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, effective from the next billing cycle.

4. Your data

You retain all rights to data you process through the platform. You warrant that you have the right to process it and that your use complies with applicable law. Tables are stored as open Apache Iceberg — on cancellation you can keep querying them with any Iceberg-compatible engine.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law, infringe third-party rights, probe or disrupt the platform or other tenants, resell the service without authorisation, or attempt to circumvent plan limits. We may suspend accounts that endanger the platform, with notice where practicable.

6. Availability and support

We operate the service with commercially reasonable skill and care. Uptime commitments and support levels, if any, are those stated for your plan. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where possible.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the amounts you paid us in that period. Nothing limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate for material breach with 15 days' written notice (immediately for serious abuse). Sections that by nature survive termination survive it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law; exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Catania, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections. Questions: legal@spooqw.io.
